NOTE- THIS STATION HAS NOW BEEN COMPLETED TO THE PLANS BELOW AND HAS BEEN IN USE FROM 2023.
This page gives the detail of the proposed pedestrian/cycle bridge which will be built alongside Clapperbrook Lane East and serve the new station (rail halt). The station plans were conditionally approved in 2014. The layout then showed a self-contained station with pedestrian bridge and ramps within the station itself, and no changes to Clapperbrook Lane East. The layout has been amended to replace the station footbridge and ramps with widening of the existing roadway to incorporate pedestrians and cyclists.
