The Alphington Village Forum was formed in 2012 when it was clear that most residents had no idea about the impending housing developments. Following a large public meeting and the AVF submission to the local authority ombudsman, Exeter City Council set up workshops with the forum and street representatives resulting in a supplementary design brief for South West Alphington.
