DevonBus has given our County Councillor Neil Stevens details of changes to the bus timetables that will commence from August 30. The changes that will affect Alphington are as follows. The changes and timetables for these and to other city and rural routes will be provided on the Stagecoach website.
Service A
No change
Service B
Journeys will extend from Matford P & R to Alphington, replacing this section of service C.
Service B will continue to provide a 20-minute service from Matford Park & Ride to Exeter City Centre and will include the Matford to Alphington section of service C.
The section of route between Matford Park & Ride and Exminster will be withdrawn. Devon County Council will fund a replacement for this section of route.
Service C
This service will be withdrawn by Stagecoach.
Service 366 (Kenn – Exeter)
This service route goes along Shillingford Road and Chudleigh Road and will be operated by Stagecoach.
