Exeter City Council has now stated:
“The exhibition for the first stage of community involvement in the SW Alphington Development Brief will take place on Thursday 18 July 2013, from 3-7pm at Alphington Village Hall (deferred from 16 May). The exhibition will be advertised on a questionnaire/leaflet that will be delivered to all homes in Alphington Village in early July”
AVF has used the delay to discuss the questionnaire/leaflet with the Council, and to make improvements. The Council has to make sure that their questionnaire is neutral, even though many of the questions have been discussed at length in workshops and public meetings and the views of most residents is fairly clear.
AVF has decided to distribute its own flyer to highlight the forum’s requirements to be included in the development brief, and we have agreed that we will assist the council in the delivery of both flyers simultaneously in two to three weeks’ time. An electronic copy of each will be posted shortly on this web site.
If you can attend the exhibition we suggest that you wait until then to complete the questionnaire, so that you have an opportunity to discuss the issues in detail.
